I truly believe we all have a place in this world. Many people struggle to find it but I believe we simply have to just take a step out, a leap of faith if you will. Sometimes we find our true purpose by just doing something, but the key here is to do something! There is no reason why any of us should spend our lives simply working, paying bills, and keeping our social schedules full. There should be a purpose in our living, a fulfillment of the things we desire. We all have a dream that is aching to break free but our busy lives rob us of the time we need to sit and ponder and be alone with our thoughts. Some people haven't connected with their dream thoughts in months or maybe years. When our dreams die our lives lack purpose and our subconscious always has a way of screaming at us through sadness, maybe even depression. We must spend time alone with our dreams, identify them, develop our thoughts of what we want to do, and write them down. In order for our dreams to become reality we need to see the plans take shape on paper. What can we do today, tomorrow, next week, next year to make our dreams a reality? The first step is the biggest and may be the scariest because it's taken without any vision or understanding of what is to follow. We're scared to go in the wrong direction but I'd like to challenge you with the idea that any initial step will take you in the right direction if it's taken in faith. Your determination to act upon your dreams will always lead you to your ultimate destination, even if the road is long and winding, has a few hills and valleys, or a few bumps. That first step is like taking the plug out of the drain, it's an amazing force that follows and flows freely from that initial action of courage.

Consider your current misery as the catalyst to cause you to wake up, re-visit your dream thoughts, see yourself fulfilling your dreams

Some of us stay mired in our daily lives, and some people are miserable where they're at. Take the opportunity to assess why you're miserable. You can almost be certain your dreams are pounding on your heart, and trying to get your attention. "How long are you going to ignore me? I'm trying to get you to do something about it." Consider your current misery as the catalyst to cause you to wake up, re-visit your dream thoughts, see yourself fulfilling your dreams, write down every detail with as much description as possible because you will forget later on, and write down your action steps one by one. Organize those actions chronologically and assign the amount of time needed to complete each one. What resources to do your need to complete each one? Write that down next to each action also. Pretty soon you will have an achievable plan, and you'll find your misery melting off you like wax. You'll feel energized, renewed, and you may even find yourself smiling! You can be certain that you've connected with your place in this world, who you are, what your contribution is in this world, and the reward that will soon follow from fulfilling your purpose.

Now imagine a world where we all identify our place in this world, and we all make plans, and take the action to fulfill them? Imagine a world where everyone is contributing to make the world a better place. For those of us who choose to, let's spread the word and hope it becomes contagious! We all have a responsibility to make the world a better place. Check back often for future blogs and courage-invoking ideas to make an impact in our world!
